The best way to compare the level of membership growth between each season is to run a Retention Report on your membership. The Retention Report provides you with an overview of your Membership across a 3-year period. Using the data compiled in your online registrations, Clubforce allows you to see specifically where members are falling off in this period. It can be filtered in to age groups, genders and various other categories all of which can be graphed.
To run the Retention Report on Clubforce, take the following steps:
- Log in to the Clubforce Admin Panel
- Click on Memberships in the left-hand menu
- From the sub-menu choose “Retention Report"
Alternatively, you can follow these steps as well; earch using any available information you have relating to the member, who paid the membership
- Log in to the Clubforce Admin Panel
- Click on the blue button titled "Is there a hole in the boat" on the top right hand side of the Club Secretary report.
It will take a moment for the report to generate a full list of members on screen. On the top left hand of the screen, you can filter the results to focus on specific age range or key word. On the right-hand side is a breakdown of the figures over the previous 3 years, and the levels of annual & cumulative growth.
There will be drop down menus on each of the sub-headings below. For example, if you click on Type, select an option and then click Filter, you will see a list of all members who paid that membership option over the previous three years. Using the Legend located above in the middle of the screen, you can see when exactly these players were members and when they weren’t.
You can download this information onto Excel, or give a visual representation of the information via the Graph button.
