If you want to cancel a Membership for a member who has registered online, you will need to search for the member on the back office and choose the Cancel Membership option on their User Details profile.
Click on the Search tab on the left hand side menu;
You will see a list of member records displayed on screen. You can choose to search for the member by typing their name or Date of Birth on the fields at the top of the page. Once you have found the Member whose Membership you wish to cancel, you can click on their record.
After selecting this record, the members Users Details profile will be displayed. You will see their Membership plans listed below these details. Beside each active Membership plan, you will see a three dot icon. Clicking on this will bring up an option to Cancel Membership. Click this option to proceed.
A pop-up will appear, informing you that you are cancelling this Membership. You will be asked to input a reason for this cancellation in a drop down menu. If the reason for cancellation is not listed, you can select Other to create a free test field where you can add the reason for the cancellation.
After selecting your reason, you can click the blue Cancel Membership button to complete the cancellation. The process of cancellation cannot be reversed once it has been cancelled so be sure you are happy to proceed before cancelling. If you wish to stop, then you click the Cancel button instead.
Once the membership has been cancelled, you will be asked if you wish to refund the member as well. The decision to refund a member is entirely at your clubs discretion and if you opt to provide it, you'll be brought directly to the Order for that member where you can issue the refund.
