If you’ve used the Back Office before, you’ll already be familiar with searching for contacts by name. We’ve expanded this significantly; you can now search by email address, phone number, or address, apply filters to narrow down your results, and save those results as a reusable audience list to send emails to.
This article walks you through the whole process from search to saved list.
The search bar now matches across more than just names. You can type any of the following and results will update as you go:
Name: first name, last name, or both, as before.
Email address: type part or all of an email address to find a specific person.
Phone number: type a full number or any four consecutive digits. Useful if you only have part of a number to hand.
Address or Eircode: type a street, town, or full Eircode to find contacts in a specific area.
You can combine search with filters at the same time. The results will only show people who match both.
Your search results appear in a table. Each row shows a contact and the following information:
First name and last name: the contact’s name as registered on the platform.
Parent / Guardian: where relevant, the linked parent or guardian name.
Date of birth: displayed as DD/MM/YYYY.
Membership status: where relevant, the contact’s membership registration status: Active, Expired, Arrears, or Cancelled.
Lotto status: whether the contact is an active or inactive lotto player; that is, whether they have a playslip entered in the next upcoming draw.
App user: Y or N, showing whether this person has downloaded and signed into the Clubforce app.
Email consent: Y or N, showing whether this person has consented to receive emails from the club.
Connect group(s): any Connect groups this person belongs to. If they are in more than three, you will see the first three listed and a “+N more” indicator. Hover over this to see the full list.
If a piece of information is not available for a contact, you will see a dash (—) in that column.
