Once assigned as a Group Manager, you will have the ability to create News posts that can be shared with members in your created groups and other members in the club.
On the Home page in the App, there will be section titled News feed at the end of the page. This will list any recent News posts that have been published to the App either for your own group specifically or any post that has been shared with your group also as well. Click the blue Add Post button to proceed to the Create post page.
If you are a Group Manager for only one club, then your club will be automatically shown at the top of the page. If you are GM for multiple clubs, then you will be asked to select your club first.
Your news post will require a Title before you can add the text for the post. You'll also be able to add one Image to the post if you wish by clicking the blue Image button
After adding the content of your post, you will then need to choose the Audience. This will be the group or Groups that will be notified of the post and be able to read it. As well as this, there will also be a section titled Club followers. This will include anyone who has chosen to Follow Your Club on the Connect App. If you choose this option, then these users will receive a push notification and will be able to view the news post on their homepage and your club's dedicated club page. Click the blue Done button to return to the Create Post section.
After selecting your Audience, double check the details of your post and selected Audience. Once you are happy to publish, click Post in the top right hand corner of the App. Your selected Audience will receive a push notification on their App and will be able to view the News Post.
