When a Group Manager creates a group, a chat room of the group will automatically be created and all members within the group can text messages to the group.
To access the group chat, click on the Messages tab. Alternatively, you can click on View all messages from the main Home page.
In the messages tab, you will see a list of all Groups that you’re added to. These will include Groups you’ve been added as a member and also Groups where you are the Group Manager. You will see a preview of the most recent message sent to these groups underneath the Group name. If no message appears underneath, then that means no messages exist for this Group.
To view or send a message, simply click on a Group title to proceed.
After selecting the group, you will see a thread of messages that have been sent to this group. The name of the member who sent the message will be highlighted in Green above the message. If the group consists of Juvenile Members, then you will see the name of the Parent/Guardian instead of the childs name.
To send a message, click on the Message… field at the bottom of the screen and input your message. You’ll be able to include URL’s to your messages for members to click on as well. When you are finished inputting your message, click the Blue Arrow button to send it instantly to the Group.
A notification will be sent to everyone in the group who has turned on message notifications. There will also be an update made to the Recent messages section on the Home screen for members in the Group.
All messages sent by members and the Group managers will be visible for everyone in this thread. If you wish to create a Private Chat Group, then please click HERE for the this process.
