How do I create Discount Codes?

If you wish to offer a Discount Code for an individual member, or provide a discount for a particular group in the club e.g. coaches or members who register halfway through the season, you will be able to generate Discount Codes in the back office for your members to use on the payment screen.

To start, click on the Membership tab on the left hand side and select Discount Codes



In the Discount Codes page, you will be able to list all Active discounts and Expired Discounts that have previously been created. The list will show the name, the code, the valid to and from date and the amount/percentage the code is discounting. For any active code, you will be able to edit or deactivate it from the Action menu on the far right hand side of the page.

In order to create a new code, click the blue New Discount button.



When creating a new Discount Code, you will have an option to create a Single Use code or a Multi use code

When creating a Discount Code, you'll be required to input the following information

Name: The name of the code that will appear on Discount Codes menu
Type of Discount: You can choose whether the code will be for a specific nominal amount e.g. €50 or for a specific percentage e.g. 10% off
Number of uses: This will determine how many times a code can be used. If you select Single use code, then this section will be greyed out
Number of coupons: This wll set how many coupons are created, allowing you to create multiple codes with the same parameters e.g. 10 single use codes of 50% off - if creating a multi use code, you can leave this figure at 1
Valid From/To: The date range inputted will determine the time period a code can be used on the system
Discount code: You can manually input the code you wish to generate. If you wish to generate a random alphanumeric code, you can click the icon to the right of the field to create this code.


When all of this information is inputted, you can click the blue Create button to activate your Discount Code

After clicking Create, the page will refresh and you will see the Active discounts menu again. Your newly created code/codes will be added to the top of this list. You can click the Green tab for each code on the Discount code column to copy the code to your clipboard.
